For UD#15 and Malmö Gallerinatt Unten Drunter is pleased to present ”Rock Island” - a sculptural sound installation.

aiPotu is Anders Kjellesvik (NO) and Andreas Siqueland (NO). They started their collaboration aiPotu while attending The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2004. The name aiPotu comes from an inversion of the word utopia - a way to look backwards and forwards at the same time. Their projects are travel related using local ideas, materials and structures to make site-specific interventions. Together they bought a veteran mobile home and travelled through Europe in the shape of the number eight. The trip started at Malmö Konsthall. Since 2007 the group has worked on "The Island Tour" - a series of island expeditions, which started with a tour of Iceland in 2007. Works from the journey were exhibited as part of this years Biennale of Sydney.

aiPotu always works site specific, Rock Island at Unten Drunter is no exception. A big dark mass has entered the exhibtion space. Sound source material. The project is done in collaboration with aiPotu's’ own band Stilongs.
