Jeanette Hillig (born in 1977, Denmark) lives and works in Copenhagen. Hillig studied at Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende künste in Frankfurt and at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, from where she graduated in 2008.

Jeanette Hillig`s work exists in the borderland between sculpture, painting and ready made. The 3-dimensional pieces are build up by various materials such as plastic and paint combined with everyday objects like containers and household goods. Familiar but anonymous products turn hereby into appealing visual forms. The use of flowing paint ties the objects to one another and points to the construction of the work.
